Boule small vase, brass

The French-German designer Olivia Herms has worked for the world-famous designer Konstantin Grcic and for the Stockholm-based design studio Claesson Koivisto Rune. Olivia Herms has now started developing her own products. The Boule Vases are her second product for Skultuna. The almost perfect sphere merges into a collar that holds the flowers. Designed in 2015.

Material: Polished Brass
Care: Brass can be polished for a bright, reflective finish or left to deepen naturally; both approaches are equally valid and depend on your preference. Interiors of vases and vessels should remain untouched, while exterior surfaces respond best to a gentle brass polish applied sparingly with a soft, dry cloth.
Please note. When adding water, immediately wipe away any spills or condensation to prevent staining on the outside.
Do not place the pot on delicate surfaces, as moisture underneath (including from condensation) may cause marks. If you're unsure, use a saucer underneath. To maintain a shiny interior, use a sealed inner pot with a tray below.
Avoid water-based cleaning products and handle pieces with clean hands or gloves to prevent grease marks.
Over time, the metal will darken and shift in tone, this graceful transformation reflects the material’s history and nature of the metal. The patina is the same quiet signature found on Skultuna pieces cherished in antique shops and auctions, a reminder that these objects are designed to be lived with and passed on.
