Via fondazza model a vase, brass
The vase series Via Fondazza is designed by the Italian designer Paolo Dell'Elce. The inspiration comes from the archetypal forms represented in still life paintings by the Italian artist Giorgio Morandi whose work was based on a thorough research into the balance between form and proportion. Via Fondazza is the name of the street in Bologna where the artist's house and studio were located. Designed in 2014.
- Design: Paolo Dell'Elce
- Size: 32 x 7 cm
- Material: Polished Brass
- Care: Brass can be polished for a bright, reflective finish or left to deepen naturally; both approaches are equally valid and depend on your preference. Interiors of vases and vessels should remain untouched, while exterior surfaces respond best to a gentle brass polish applied sparingly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water-based products and handle pieces with clean hands or gloves to prevent new marks. Over time, the metal will darken and shift in tone, this graceful transformation reflects the material’s history and nature of the metal. The patina is the same quiet signature found on Skultuna pieces cherished in antique shops and auctions, a reminder that these objects are designed to be lived with and passed on.
