Lily large 2-in-1 laundry basket

Rectangular laundry basket Lily is made from water hyacinth and has an inside separator. The two compartments separate laundry right from the start, or use the crate for recycling; bottles on one side and pizza boxes in another. Two soft white cotton laundry bags inside are easy to lift and empty. Sturdy steel frame keeps the basket in shape for longer while the lid hides any mess out of sight.

Handbraided, the natural material brings texture and character while complimenting all kinds of Nordic interiors, from traditional and vintage charm to modern and minimalist or relaxed bohemian. The simple rectangular shape fits in the kitchen, bathroom and in the bedroom as well, rendering quiet order and calm wherever you place it.

Material: 100% water hyacinth with steel frame. Water hyacinth is a free-flowing perennial aquatic plant that can reach up to 1 meter above the water surface. The plant is an invasive weed in Vietnam, and grows freely with a suffocating effect on large river areas. By cleaning and using the material to weave baskets, the company contributes to counteracting the overgrowth of watercourses in Vietnam.
