Hand-braided from water hyacinth around a sturdy steel frame, the basket comes with a removable cotton bag that makes sorting and carrying laundry effortless. Without the bag, the basket also works beautifully as general storage for textiles, toys or household items. The natural look offers a calm, warm and timeless accent to Nordic homes that suits many different woods and colours, from neutral whites, beiges or greys to greens, blues and other hues!

Available in two sizes, the Lily is part of a series that includes a round version.

Other info: A free-flowing perennial aquatic plant and with its wide, thick, glossy, oval-shaped leaves, the water hyacinth can reach up to 1 meter above the water surface. The water hyacinth is an invasive weed that grows freely and has a suffocating effect on large river areas with fresh water. By cleaning and using the material to weave baskets, we contribute to counteracting the overgrowth of watercourses in Vietnam.
