Parmenide grater, 2 colours, black or ice
This cheese grater has a very handy Italian design. Small and stylish, it gathers the cheese to a container where the delicious bits can be dropped straight to the pasta plate. The Parmenide combines two domestic kitchen products in one and is both a cheese grater and a cheese cellar. This delightful little container is incredibly handy when you want to serve cheese at the table and its innovative combination of two separate functions has helped earn it a place at the New York Museum of Modern Art.
Designed by Alejandro Ruiz in collaboration with the Alessi Research Center the CSA, it's contemporary look and ease of use make it a tool you never knew you needed but once you've got there's no going back!
