Green turtle pitcher, animal farm collection

Animal kingdom, fauna big and small, has inspired this collection designed by Alessandra Baldereschi. Baldereschi is a Milanese-born designer who is behind the most playful and cute collections for the magical Italian glass manufacturer Ichendorf Milano. And Animal Farm is like a trip to the zoo!

Turtles are quite introverts in the wild, but in this water jug made from clear glass the turtle looks quite curious. Yellow and green and glossy, it rests on the bottom of the jug, handmade and flame-worked from glass by Italian glass artisans. The glass is light but durable borosilicate.
